Default So what would you do? (clear corner & L.E.D signals)

Here's the deal i'm in love with the clear corner & L.E.D signals on the celsior(LS430) in japan i can score these at a decent price thru my connect
it's a subtle difference but that's what seperates the men from the boys,so would you guys...1. buy these clear corner/L.E.D signal lights 2. try and clear out your factory lights (risk possible damage & be screwed) 3. do a entirely different mod.
Here's the lights

My guy letting me know the deal...i'm also thinking about mufflers but i don't want the noise so he says i can do tips.
Hi, Thomas-san.

We thank you for your reply.
Here is the pictures of the Toyota Genuine Headlights and Muffler tips for UCF3 Kouki(Later) models 2004-05.
The muffler tips are the one of the populer modification for the muffler in Japan. The Celsior owners who don't want to change the original muffler sound do this modification.
If you are interested, please let us know.
Thank you very much!

anyway here's the pic of the tips....they look stock to me they really don't command my attention...my main focus is the headlights.

I'm about to clear my headlights out, as soon as I get a chance. School starting will keep me busy with the kids until they get into their groove, then it's on.

Maybe you can get a small group buy for the light and tips. How much for each?

Yeah that was kind of a drastic statement but what i'm saying is anyone can clear out their headlights for free, buying a japan exclusive part that some might see as exspensive and not worth it is being different and seperating myself from the pack...when you go to car shows it's the little details that can make or break your ride,i'm not saying i'm gonna do shows but i don't want my car to look like another cookie cutter LS430.

I am not criticizing anything/anyone here, just want to point out potential issues with JDM headlights, in case some of you are not aware.

JDM headlights point the opposite way since traffic goes the opposite direction, some people don't care, but the light pattern is totally opposite, completely blind the on coming traffic.

Also I wonder if the AFS is compatible, since again it is the opposite direction.

Are those exhaust tips OEM Toyota optional accesseries?

I don't have an LS430 so I can't really be sure. About how to do it .. baking the headlights and taking that amber bit off would be one way in my opinion.

I've done some in the past, there are write ups on the forum. You'll have to take your headlights off, and what I have used in the past to do some headlights was a heatgun and some screw drivers to pry it open. Once inside, its pretty easy from there.....just becareful you don't want to break anything. Then buy some silicone glue and put it back together. It takes time.......

I've also heard that some ppl put it in the over for a short period of time.....but i've never done it before so....don't take my word on that one....

There was one guy who said he did this the the tail lights. He heated them up, removed the amber reflector, and had the clear tail light look. I don't think anyone else has tried it.
