That is a great deal.. Buy it if it looks and runs good. If they want to do a deposit through paypal and invoice you through ebay auto.. STAY AWAY.. It is a scam...


I am betting that it is not a legit offer.. Call them and say you want to come and see it right away.. no matter how far you have to drive and that you will pay them cash on the spot. They will tell you that they can't do that and would rather a third party handle the transaction..

But hey good luck and show us pictures if you buy it..

It is total bs and a scam, I see the same type of listing here on Phoenix Craigslist http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/871426731.html, Leads to the same picasa photos with "Brian's" gallery.

This one in PHX is a "Lexus LS 430 - 2004 Full Navigation Options - $7890"

Maybe they forgot the "1" as in $19980.

HELL NO DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SCAM
I've been going back and forth with this fool, trying to get me to send him or her money through some bogus ebay buyer protection plan. The LS is not even listed on ebay. The person does not even want to do a face to face transaction. This fool states ebay will hold on to the money just in case I didn't like the car and I'll get my money back when I send back the car. His contact # is a bogus fax machine somewhere in MD D.C. area. I even offered him 5K and he agreed and also told me his was moving to Canada. It's a bunch of BS! People like this need a serious beat down and thrown in jail for a crime like this. I hope he gets caught!

Yes - it's definitely a scam.

Looks like they're spamming on Craigslist now for LS 430 models with the same weblink to a picasa website showing pics of the car. You'll immediately know it's a fake listing as well as there isn't an "area" shown for the listing where the vehicle is located.

Of course if you don't believe this, feel free to enquire about one of the cars listed on Craigslist in Seattle right now. They currently have a 2004 LS 430 with 14,480 Miles for $7920. This is also one of the special models that has a 4 cyclinder engine - yes that is listed in the ad as well.

Buyer Beware. If it looks too good to be true it probably is.
