DO NOT READ if you own a 460
Just want to know if it is my eyes. Twice I have seen Camrys with chrome kits on the front, and thought they were 460s at first glance. Do I need to see the eye doc, or are they kind of similar?

Me too! 
I love the look of the LS460 it is just that the latest ES is following the same lines so closely that it takes a "second" maybe "third" look to distinguish.
If it is any consolation I have had to do double takes on some Mercedes models. I even passed an E63 STATION WAGON the other day and looked closely for all the correct badging (it was all there). The driver look more like a Volvo owner maybe an engineer with a hot-rod streak!

You guys are just plain bad....you in a few years or months you will be buying one!! yes, you guys are right it is not distinctive enough from the other lexus models these days....well that what you get when you wanna follow the benz and bimmers...have them all look alike!!

dude if i was up to my old antics i would have said something to the effect of "thats so funny cuz i did confuse your wife with angelina jolie last night" but that would have just been down right rude. thats very funny though, i'll have to see if i can mistake my wife for lucy lu or something... she really hates it when people say she looks like lucy lu,,, just cuz she's asian. but japanese people always say i look like jack bower... kinda racist too perhaps...
i always thought the 460 shared a lot of similarities (other than the front,,, more like the sides and rear) with that new redesigned 7 series bmw that came out with like 2 years ago..
