This company has the module to override the DRL low output. It will allow the DRL LED's to put out 100% light. It doesn't work with regular bulbs only LEDs.

V-LEDS DRL Modules
Having issues with your LED Daytime Running Light conversion? This is your solution! Easy plug n' play inline modules from V-LEDS. These will provide full power to the LED bulbs when installing in a low voltage DRL system. Works with all vehicles using 9005 bulb for DRL/High Beam. Not for use with standard bulbs.

Measures: 35x35x20 mm
Input Voltage: 3V-14.5V,
Output: 14.5V/500mA
Max Current Draw: 7.2W

the DRL's are just your high beams running at 50% voltage, same as on the 2gs.

if you mean the parking lights that come on with your low beams at night, they are 194's, again just like the 2gs.

nice stuff...

i have a 2gs that i am trying to sell for a ul ls430 and this is what i was always looking for to do on my 2gs but now i can't wait to get an ls and do it. i finally just found a car shop that let me try out about 9 different combinations of different colored and wattage bulbs for my 2gs drl's until i found these bulbs that are like a bright purple when under full power but they actually look the best of the best when used for these low output drl's. They are like a bluish white that actually matches the stock hid color. the color output was perfect but they barely put out any usable light at all. this conversion thing seems 100 times better than my current drl's.. thanks, (bookmarked)..
