does the 1998 lexus ls400 16inch rims and tires fit an 2005 ls430?

hello, I am selling my stock 16 in rims and tires off my 98 ls400. a guy ask me to see if they will fit his 05 ls430 since he wanted smaller wheels instead. does anyone know if they fit or not? sorry if I post this in the wrong section... many thanks!

It will be safe to say "No" due to the brake calipers of the 05 LS being alot bigger than the 98LS.
Unless someone can verify this otherwise.

as far as i knew the LS had pretty big brakes, thats why a lot of the 2gs guys retro them in, so the 16s would be a pretty high-disk wheel. why he'd want to get rid of his 05's 18's i really dont know but worse comes to worst test fit one.
