my biggest grip about this LS is the HANDLING, don't like it! Doesn't compare anything to my MB AMG Sport Suspension E350. The LS feels nervous on turns and 2 much body roll is unappealing driving habit IMO.
On the other hand, Navi is cinch to use, but "sometimes" gives you bad directions. I really like the Gen 5 Lexus navi. Looks so crisp. I wish there was some way to swap the navi brain to get Gen 5 in my LS?

If you had the sport package (18's and stiffer suspension), you maaaay not be saying that? What's weird is I would have thought the Ultra would HAVE every OPTION, however the Sport Package was a $220 option that had to be added on!
I guess it would be counter-intuitive though...to add the Sport Package to the Ultra. People who opt for the Ultra most likely wants the feeling of riding on a big fluffy cloud..lol
UPDATE-----I just read on the 2005 LS430 sales brochure (that sits on my coffee table..lol) footnote #14. Footnote #14 says: SPORT PACKAGE NOT AVAILABLE ON CUSTOM OR ULTRA LUXURY MODELS.

to tell you the truth, I doubt that the Sport Package with 18" would make that much of a difference. My "Sport" button in my Ultra does absolutely nothing for me. My Benz sits so much lower to the ground, it handles sooo much better.
