Thanks for the info on the gx and lx i did not know gx was weak in those areas like that. i guess my knowledge is lacking in the large suv class.

 

Yes, as opposite of the GX, LX470 handles very well being a large SUV like that.
LX is quite, and very car like, try drive one and you will be amazed, GX doesn't have that feeling.

 

Update, just got 05 Sequoia SR5 loaded with leathers and sunroof, upgraded 17' Charcoal rims. White!!! Love it!

Suprisingly, my wife loves it as well! she didn't even care about my LS!

 

now all you have to do is mount a howitzer on the roof and a 80 mil out the back window slap on sum armor plating and you got yourself a real tank. congrats... i've never actually driven one before so i'm just speculating,, how does it feel and drive??

Of course, Still got the LS.

I chose 05 Sequoia, since it has updated tranny and engine. Tranny now is 5 speed and motor makes 285 HP/325 TQ!
My 00 LX470 was slow, and this Sequoia actually goes!!! Power is on foot, I never feel I need more power like when I was in my LX.

I remember reading 0-60 improved from 9.5 sec in 01-04, to 6.5 sec for 05+. Still, Sequoia drives very car like, handles well for its size, and quiet too.

Anyway, I bought it because I need the room, and now I feel like I don't have to borrow my friend's van anymore.

I need SUV can carry people, put rims in, and possibly carry full set of bodykits, so LX470 won't fit, I know.
