Unhappy Should I sell my LS?

A guy checked out my car and offerd me 35K cash.

But most of you know I just barely finish the project after 8 months, and I have only put 2000 miles on it.

What made me hesitate was, after he checked out my car, he asked me " you think I can put 22's on this car? " ( no offense to you guys have 22's on your LS430 )

The thing is, should I sell? LS460 is tempting.

Sell it while you can!!! In this crap economy, you're lucky to get $35K out of it!

that's the only thing, price, what he is offering is very tempting.

But the inner self tells me not to.

If he buys your car and puts on 22's... Can i buy your wheels than?

Do you have more $35K in it?
To me, it sounds like you have your mind made up. If you are tempted, it is time to give it up....

Good luck on your decision. It will be the right one.

i am not sure which trim you got, so i don't know if the guy offer you is good $.
if it is and you want the ls460 go for it.
for the ls460 in my opinion it is so so. that is why i bought a used ls430 even though i can buy a ls460 brand new.

I say sell if you have the hots for the 460, and sounds like you do. You would not be asking if your heart was still tied to the 430, 35K is a dayum good price in thsi market for a Custom Lux 430. The 460 looks reak kick *** after a drop, 22' wheels and some tint on it (IMO). If you do go for the 460 make sure you get the Smokey Granite (the new Flint Mica) it looks sick on the 460!

i'd sell it. put away your emotions and do what's smart. in life there are always decisions where you know there is the "right thing to do" and "what you want to do". in my experience, i've gotten into trouble more times with "doing what i want to do" vs what i know is the smarter decision.

you know you should sell it so just do it and pick up an ls460 if you want in the future. the other member who said 35k is a lot in the economy is right considering the car market. locally i've found ls460s for close to 42k (used of course) so that should serve as an indicator of times to come.

good luck with your decision making.

Andy,

While I love your car, in todays market I would have sold it there and then. I just looked at an 05 Ultra for $19k...

You could easily start over on a newer model for that amount to work with...
