Default Head to toe problems

Front and back I see a couple of small areas I wanted to bounce off you guys. The hood does not have a light when you lift it to view the engine? The trunk is less than convenient, no power closer and the gas struts seem less than optimal.

Also the filler door, trunk, hood all kinda run together under the dash and are hard to pinpoint. Agree/disagree Otherwise pretty ergonomically designed IMO. 2004 ls 430 55 k

I agree with the hood light and the trunk. The trunk strut and hinge setup leave much to be desired. Also, the trunk closer is a joke. There is hardly any difference in the force needed to activate the closer versus closing the trunk yourself. And yes, there should be a closer from the fully open position. The buttons do run together on the dash, its hard to tell them apart in the dark. Also, I think that the door lock/unlock lever being right in that little handle area is weird. Other than that, an outstanding vehicle!
