Installed 6500k HID Bulbs (headlights)
Ordered the 6500k bulbs from XeonDepot the last month. I also ordered a kit for the fog lights. Haven't gotten a chance to install the fogs yet, but got the head lamps in this last week.
They look great. I love the slightly blue tint that these bulbs have compared to the stocks.
I did run into an issue that I emailed Steve about yesterday. The beam pattern has changed on my drivers side headlamp. There is a distinctive backwards "z" shape to the beam pattern of the stock lights. _____/------
The passenger side still has this beam pattern, but the drivers side has a "hotspot" that has more light concentrated in a certain area.
I tried taking the bulb back out and reinstalling it. Thought maybe it was not fully seated in the housing but it seems to be fine. I have not tried sticking the stock bulb back in.
Anyone have any idea what might be causing this. Not to familar with how the projector lense works inside the housing or what I could have done to it. I'll try switching out the bulb back to a stock tonight and see if that fixes cool.
