I just purchased a 01 Silver on blk UL with 95k CPO'ed from 50-90k with the 90k service done
Car is very clean but the coin tray is missing that clear insert that holds the tray in so I hit my knee when I get in or out. Lexus of austin wants 156.00 for a replacement tray.(not gonna happen). Any help would be appreciated. My wife has had a 01 UL (Blk/Blk) for 5 years without any issuses thus no posts by me. My daily driver is an 01 BMW 740il. I live on the bmw forums, many issuses. Planning to daily drive the my silver LS. Thanks in advance.

A CPO and they wouldn't replace that? That doesn't sound right. On my CPO, it had a chip in the windshield and they replaced the windshield, one of the side mirrors motor was slow, they replaced both mirrors (right and left), and they did a bunch of other small items before I took delivery of the car (door dings, touch up on chips, interior scuffs, etc). Even a couple of weeks afterwards, I took the car in because the right rear end was sitting lower than the others. They ended up replacing the air shock.

Word. I was in for an oil change last week and they looked up my car and saw that it was under the extended warranty and asked if I had any issue as they would cover it. Guess they would love to do extended warranty work and charging it back to Lexus though my dealer is really good and courteous, very customer oriented.

CPO expired at 90k, I got it last week with 95k. No longer under CPO. I guess I'll figure out a way to keep it shut. I hate to have a car with something that does not work. I'll post my results.
