Default painted my calipers

I painted my calipers using the Dupli-Color® BCP400 High Performance Brake Caliper Paint Kit, Red. I dismounted the calipers so I had to replace the bolts with new ones so it was a little more expensive than just the paint kit and time. I did it by removing all four wheels (put it on stands) and taking the entire weekend to let it cure before remounting the wheels.

What you guys think? I got the vinyl stickers from http://www.bombgrafx.com/

This outfit is actually on ebay so might get a better price from their ebay store since stores seem to be advertising better discounts of their ebay store...

This first pic is on the fronts

Sorry guys, my pics were too big to try and upload them into the gallery and be able to post them all on one response, so I am needing to resize each one and post them separately. I will do better next time.

Here is the rear

Default teaser photo to top it off

And since you all seem to like teaser photos (uh, no) here is one.....

I ordered these wheels back in early July and I didn't get them until right before Thanksgiving. As you can see, I finally decided on what tires to get and Discount Tire matched the price I wanted....

thanks man, especially from you - you in a different league. BTW, I haven't seen an update on your audio/video and ceiling effects upgrades that you started a while back. Done yet? If so, or if you have updates and I missed it, shoot me a thread pointer - I want to see.

Looks good. I painted my fronts as well (black) but no sticker or logo on mine.

I remember your post, and it was a post that reminded me that I needed to do this (I had bought the paint kit back in June but put it off).

Looks very nice, clean work. I did mine that were starting with the rust color on the GS with 3 coats of black, and 3 clear coats. Still looks great a year later.

Very very nice job.

I would love to do that, but I'd never be able to decide what color to use on a Cypress Pearl (Greenish) LS430.

I too struggled on deciding whether black or red, but in the end, my decision was based on whether or not I wanted it to stand out. The contrast going with red definitely calls it out in my opinion. And that was what I was after. The other struggle I had after finally deciding on what paint color, was deciding on what vinyl color to go with (black or white) on the emblem. I sat on all of this for 3months

So IMO, on your white car, the red contrast will show more, whereas going with black will be clean and distinctive. Depends on what you are after.

On the Cypress, IMO, the red wouldn't look right. I would go either black or silver. Silver with black emblems would be my first choice.

I'm about to do this or go to plan B which involves getting a spare set of calipers and dropping them off for them to be...
