Default Retorque drive shaft flange bolts?

Do the drive shaft flange bolts on the LS430 seem particularly prone to loosening? At pretty much every service interval these need to be checked. I've been doing most of my own maintenance one all my vehicles for 25 years and have never seen this as a regular item to check on any other vehicle. All the other items I see in the manual seem reasonable and common to the other vehicles I've had but this seems odd.
