I'm looking at an 06 LS430 with 14k miles, CPO asking $41k for a friend.

It has navigation, 18" wheels, mark levinson stereo, heated seats, etc.

Edmunds places the car at about 32k trade-in, 35k private party, and 41k for CPO retail.

I think this may be a bit out of date, how much do you all think it's worth? 33k?

The low miles and CPO are a big attractor, I'm trying to find an 06 with under 20k miles and Navi.

I did find another CPO 06 with an asking price of 34k, with 23k miles and no navi...so I'm thinking that 33k might not be out of line for the nicer car.

Any advice would be appreciated.

 

FWIW, I picked up my 06 Ultra w/14K back in November for 31K; catch was it was a mfg buy back car.

 

So a couple of months later, CPO, and with an unblemished title, I think 33k would be a decent deal? Who knows if they will come down 8k though...

 

CPO only adds perhaps $2K to the price of a vehicle. A modern luxury with numbers you have only runs for perhaps $32K private party, but a custom luxury another $1000 more. So factoring in the CPO at $2, then we're talking $35K abouts right? A LS430 is not worth $40K anymore, no matter what trim. The market is just not there.

 

That's what I figured, is there anyway to tell whether it's a modern or custom luxury from pictures?

edit: did a search, I am guessing it's probably just a modern luxury car. They have a similar car listed for 45k that is probably a custom luxury or ultra luxury model.

 

Last month I bought a 2006 LS430 UL Black/Tan with 35k for $33,900, and felt like I got a steal. What a ride and what comfort. Looking for places to drive.

 

Damn - that's a good deal if it was in great condition..
