Old LS430 Just Hit 100k, CEL's and Repair... What do I need?!

What happened to the VSC light?
I'm not a mechanic but I thought that VSC stood for "Vehicle Stability Control" (they have those initials on several of the older RX300's) and I don't believe that has anything to do with an O2 Sensor. (Although I may be incorrect if anyone can confirm this.) Did that light remain on? What did the dealer say about it? If I am correct then I would assume it would take more than replacing the O2 Sensor to correct that issue. I am at about 90K miles and would just like to be sure when the time comes for me. Hope it all works out for you.

In short, you are right, but I was mislead on how to fix it. I guess its alright because the CEL code said faulty 02 sensor. By the way, if anyone cares to tell, what exactly was the $215 I spent for on the 02 sensor? Was it even worth it now? The car drove just fine anyways even with the CEL on. Thanks!

Well I think I figured out the purpose of the o2 sensor. On my daily Sunday trip, I averaged like 24mpg instead of the typical 18-19 I have been getting prior...

Took mine to a buddy's shop yesterday to verify what's causing the CEL. Front right O2 sensor. That explains the crappy mileage lately too.
Dealer wants 200 plus for one and I plan on changing both. Even with my 20% discount, that's high I thought. So, went on to sparkplugs.com. They have the "OE Identical" denso sensors for 100 each. 12 dollars to ship
I will also be doing the timing belt job tonight after work. I have the water pump, the belt, a couple idler pulleys, belt tensioner, fresh gallon of coolant, Thermostat. ETC. Should be fun!!
