Default LS460 wheels for LS430

Will the LS460 wheels which I believe are 18x7.5 with 37 offset fit on the LS430 ('04 if that matters) which I believe has a 45 offset. Any rubbing or other issues? I am presuming the wheels will clear the calipers since they are for the LS460.

just a guess based on the numbers i don't think it would be a problem. where can you get a set of these for a decent price?? i've always heard about people getting lucky by getting a set of dealer 'buy backs' or something like that but i have had no such luck in finding a cheap set..

Forget it, Buddy.
Different bolt patterns.

114.3X5 VS, 120 X5

On Flea-bay of course... I probably shouldn't tell until I get myself. Someone on there has a set of four supposedly for around $300 shipped. Claims removed when new and the profile feedback is over 95% positive.

Hey, who knows. The LS460 are not the best in the world in terms of look, but for that price, worth a look and see. I just mainly want a nice (cheap but good) pair of 18" that will fit without modifications.

Awww crub. Shot down in less than two replies. I guess that's why all the LS460 wheels don't list as being for "LS430 too"

My search continues....

why in the hell would lexus/ toyota change the bolt spacing on their ls460's this makes about absolutely zero sense at all. as far back as i can ever recall toyota has used the same pattern unless i'm just not remembering very well.

and like 97% of all nissan/ infiniti's made in the last 15 years are also 114.3...

I think they wanna make LS460/600 more exclusive.

Only LS460/600 now has 120X5 bolt patterns.

I looked into this issue extensively, as I really wanted the 19x8 5 spokes OEM wheels off the LS460L Touring.

They are +35mm offset, which would be perfect if they have the same bolt pattern.

Then I look into bolt pattern change adapter, the thinnest ones possible was either 15mm or 10mm, which would make the wheels stick out way too far So it doesn't work, which is good, as I like my stock 430's 18s more now.

Lexus had to increase the bolt pattern due to the increased weight and power of the LS460/600, the heavier the car, the bigger hub is require to support the weight.

This is the heaviest Toyota passenger car in history, all previous cars wasn't heavy enough to require a bigger hub. I guess the 4000 lbs LS430 is the most weight the 114.3 can support. The LS460/600 are 4400~4600 lbs.

Look at the even heavier SUVs, they all got bigger bolt patterns:

GX470: 6 x 139.7mm
LX570: 5 x 150mm

hmmm, makes sense when you explain it bnr34 thanks for learning me something new, i never thought of it like that before but i guess everything happens for a reason (in most cases). 4600 lbs's is a heavy *** sedan..

I found some site listed the curb weight of the Century as 2000 KG = 4400 lbs.

But I can't find it's bolt pattern, it won't be surprising if it is bigger then a 5 x 114.3.

Consider how special the Century is (the only OEM Japanese car that ever got a V12), it won't be surprising if it got a non standard bolt pattern

some really cool reading compliments of wikipedia. i have always been a fan of lexus and after living in okinawa japan for a few years i became an even bigger fan of toyota. i always thought that the crown majesta was the flagship of toyota after the celsior moved to lexus but apparently the century holds this title. thanks for the insight on this vehicle.

but according to what i read the century is only priced around 95k $$ which is actually less than the ls600hl. i always debate with my wife (japanese) where the crown would be positioned if it ever made a debut in the states. we argue if it would be under the ls on lexus's side or above the avalon on toyota's side and if it made it to the states, how much would it msrp for???
