As it stands now we 17 UL's, clearly the UL is not rare on CL as it is on the streets! I knew the UL would win out b/c of it's popularity here, maybe the CL will come close to in the end....I doubt it.

can you disable the radar cruise on your 02?? since like day 3 of ownership i figured out how to disable the radar cruise (on 05 ul) and haven't used it since... like you said when someone cuts you off, and they will because it leave a big gap (even on the close setting) it will hit the brakes hard...

i'm not talking about permanently disabling it, even though i'm sure you can do that too. on mine after i push in the cruise button to turn it on i just push the cruise controller arm thing towards the front of the car and hold it for like 2.2 seconds until it says radar disabled then i set the cruise on like normal... you just have to do this every time you turn the car on though...

Overriding the nav system is enough for me, would hate the need to override the radar each time, as I use cruise in town all the time. Cops here are a bit testy on their 30 mile limits.

overriding the radar cruise is a very easy simple process that takes about 2 seconds which is comprised of holding the cruise controller thing depressed... not nearly as complicated as overriding the nav, at all.

I think the reason why most have purchased a UL is because for only a few thousand more you can buy a used UL with $14K in goodies (ie options). That was my thinking.

My conclusion.
UL owners love their cars the most and take pride in the ownership. They frequent this board the most.
CL owners love their cars too and frequent here but CLs seem to be small in numbers.
Other are just kicking themselves and hating UL/CL owners....saying Damn, should have done little more research. For a grand or two more could have been riding a CL or UL.
j/k
Regardless they all are most dependable cars and run smooth.

how does the ML rate into the latter, between the CL to UL?? I am guessing that the poll shows the proper order?? so never mind.
p.s. i prefer to think that mine is a LUL (Lowered UL) or DUL (Dropped UL)

Obviously the UL owners love to come online since they're rich and don't work... ha ha, just kidding. It is interesting seeing that UL was 5% of production, but about 90% of the people who voted.
I'm a CL lover and don't regret not getting the UL. I'll own a "top of the line" LS in about 20 years when it's just me and my wife, and we're old and grey, driving to Bingo night or to the mall with our grand kids.
