Default Door Gaskets

I know we have covered this issue before but I post this in hopes progress has been made by some of you and for the benefit of those who might have join since the issue was last discussed.
My car, 06 LS430 Ultra, has squeaks around the top of the door jams when turning into areas with a dip, such as driveways and parking lots. Has anyone discovered a fix for this?

No, I have not but I have thought about treating them with 303 seeings as it does not contain silicone. First I wanted to hear from others and what they might have discovered.

I think they all do that, is not a defect. It is how the design turns out. There is probably no fix for it.

But man, you are picky huh! The LS430 is probably the quietest car out there other then a RR Phantom or Maybach. So that little squeaks don't bother me at all.

I don't think the issue is that he's picky. The car is super quiet so the squeaks sound crazy loud. They bug the crap out of me too.

I read someone also waxed the door jam and that helped. I havn't tired it yet.

well, I work for MB , when we get complaint from customer that squeaking from certain areas, techs would use the "MB" rubber seal lube apply it on any rubber seal, and you will be surprise the difference that it can make.

There is a dedicated rubber seal lube spray that can be used to solve this issue. A good example can be seen at:

for about $4. This particular one works quite nicely.

Thank you to all who responded. The 04 RX330 we had squeaked around the top of the door jams while driving down the road and the 07 RX350 we have now does it too. At least my 06 LS only does it when traveling across bumpy areas or over dips. I think I will try 303 on the door seal gaskets first since 303 doesn't contain silicone.

THIS is what you need. I've been having the same squeeking noise around the door seals. Applied it over the weekend and couldn't be happier. Easy to apply with the built-in sponge applicator.

Thanks Brian. You certainly have my attention with this being a non-silicone product. I will place an order today. Thanks for sharing the information and the link!
303 is a good non-silicone product too.
