I appreciate your input

Do you have any recent pics of your car after the springs settled in?

Can anyone tell what's the size of those rear tires-more like 30 or 35 series sidewall?

Thanks Jeff

I don't want to derail your thread because I'm facing that situation. Current wheels have the 285/30/20 10" for the rear and I bought the 275/30 tires.
For some reason, the tires are squared and sits just about right at the lip

i have 275/30/20 10.5 on my car and i noticed that depending on the brand tire you buy, it will give you that square look opposed to that stretched look... my first set of back tires were nankang ns-II's and they appeared to be stretched. i then bought a set of pirelli p-zero's and it has a square look.. bothe tires were the same size

Like Topshottaz said, different brand and model of tires are all created differently. They all have different dimensions and looks, even if they are the same size.

Agreed, my 275 Falken never rubs on my SC, as soon as I changed them to Michelin PS2s, they start rubbing like crazy.

Which is kind of a drag, when you have a set up that is very closely fitted, every mm count. And you don't know until you actually try it on

All you people with Tanabe DF or NF lowering springs on your LS430, how long did it took for the springs to completely settle down to the lowest height?

Mine's seems to b e dropping very slowly everyday, but it is taking a longggg time!!!
