if u guys want i can take a picture of my cousins car is jus like the one that up right now but got 5% tints and taillights done.. it looks good at night my personal opinion . i got the flint mica and the red tails look good if tinted i think they will look to dark and look not so great

Of course, I am a fan of the "murdered" look. I have already blacked out the tails and took apart the head lamps and blacked them out too... I think the look is sick to say the least. If you do decide to go for it, I would suggest that you take them to a body shop and have them painted because the film delaminates and ends up looking pretty shi#y. It's not too tough of a job at all. Remove them first, wipe them down really well with a terry cloth and a little paint thinner and then lightly sand them with 800 grit so that the paint doesn't fisheye or run. Have them add just a little black (or color of your choice) to some clear and spray them. The only thing I have left to do is decide on how to drop it...

 

I'm a fan of tint but if you must tint the tails go with a lighter percentage vs 5% b/c it looks to dark. I have a pic of a 04-06 blk LS430 with the tails tinted, when i get hm i will post it and it complements the car quite well!

The lighter percentage is just right IMO, but we all have different taste so go for what you like.

Well, I really thought the tinted tails looked nice, with the white stripe still showing, but seems the majority of people think it looks silly.

And thats what I was looking for, what most people would think of it.

 

You still can tint the tails but go with a lighter percentage, since 5 people said they prefer lightly tinted (you were going with the majority) vs limoed out.

I don't think the light tint looks good at all. It makes the tail lenses look old or worn. Untinted looks clean and new.

Tinted limo would be the only way I would fly.
