Default Blitz Throttle Response Controller 3UZ-FE

Has anyone on here tried one of these controllers? a friend of mines also on the forums installed one of these on a 06' GS430 with the same 3UZ-FE motor and this thing is amazing... Being that our cars are drive by wire this controller kinda fools the computer to think that your foot is all the way down on the pedal.. When i drove my friends GS it felt like a completely different car, as soon as I hit the gas the car was losing traction for a good couple seconds before the computer kicks in some kind of secondary traction control that cut backs the car... he eventually disabled it and im pretty sure it feels alot better now... It hooks up in between the plug on the gas pedal and the plug that goes on the pedal....They go for somewhere around $350 on ebay.. here's a brief description

BLITZ products Electric device that improves the accelerator response drastically

Blitz configured 4 settings (ECO / SP1 / SP2 / SP3) to select desired acceleration response by simply pressing a button. Or "OFF Mode" also available if stock acceleration mode is desired

I have it on my 01 GS430. It doesn't make the car faster, but it makes the throttle a lot more aggressive - BMW like.

I've never understood the purpose. If I want to go fast I put the pedal to the floor. With this I guess I would only have to put it half way.

a make-you-feel-the-car-is-faster device.
I wouldn't get it, if I want to go faster, I can just press down the pedal more myself.

i do agree a 100%
why would i want to tap my gas to have a it go fast sometime i do want to just cruise around but if i gotta get thrown back every time i tap the call i think that's just foolish ...but if your a love to race i think it will make u feel better....how does it work with the gas mileage

but there are times when you're going 30-35mph and you want to pass, you get that lag even when you slam on the gas.
You get a pause, then car slingshot you into hyperspace

I read everyones comments and i do agree....but the purpose of the controller is for racing purposes to lower ET's on the track, we all can push our pedal all the way down to accelerate but it won't make the throttle body open any faster, with the controller it'll open 2-3 times as fast compared to stock therefore lowering your trap speed(drag racing) so instead of running hi 9's you'll run maybe mid to low 9's

P.S. having the controller on an LS 430 or anycar that's not racing is basicaly for the look what i have/big **** contest

I for one want it, im not a racer or track ***** or anything like that but i would rather have the quicker throttle response... and for the flip side it also comes with an "economy" mode as well.. i dont have all of the answers but ive seen how they work

I am debating on picking one up. I believe the main purpose is for a quicker throttle response (as Toyota/Lexus drive by wire is slow). I am not planning on racing or tracking the LS, but from time to time, I like to drive "briskly". Besides, I get irritated with the lag when I stomp on the gas.

If I ever get one, I'll post up a review.
