Can you tell me how they drive compare to the LS430? I never was able to find a 99-00 to test drive, I only drove a 97' LS400 and that didn't drive too well with the 4-speeds and less power

My driving impressions... the 16" stock wheels and tires were extremely floaty feeling. When I put the 18's on it seemed to handle much better and was more responsive, but that could have been because of the all-season tires I had. I couldn't tell too much difference in ride quality. If anything it was a tad bit rougher, but not by much.
I may get another LS400 later on down the line. We will see how it goes.

It is the stock ride height with a 245/45/18 Tire. It filled the fender very well.
My driving impressions... the 16" stock wheels and tires were extremely floaty feeling. When I put the 18's on it seemed to handle much better and was more responsive, but that could have been because of the all-season tires I had. I couldn't tell too much difference in ride quality. But I was interested in how the 99' LS400 drive compare to your 03' LS430?
