Default What Audio Harness do I need???

I just purchased Apline video monitors and Valor DVD player for my LS430 2004. They were professionally installed, but I get no audio from the factory speakers, only the headphones. The installer was trying to sell me audio harness which had Ipod capabilities, but I dont need Ipod capabilities. This harness was 200 bucks! What basic harness can I purchase to get sound from my factory head unit??? Please help, I'm going back to the install shop this friday, i would like to have the part by then...

I've been gathering informations this past week because I want to add in a single din with usb reader along with the oem radio.
Someone correct if they have prior experience

1. FM modulation, the cheapest ($20 ish) but not the best sound.
2. Vaistech
3. Autotoys harness. You feed the sound through the AM/SAT port that's already there on the LS radio, but not sure if it works since I don't see the LS as listed and haven't contacted them.

I was able find harnesses for most Lexus, except LS430. Man this sucks! Vaistech is more than I want to spend for just sound. I decided to use the audio output from the brain of the Apline unit and connect the tape deck adapter for sound. It actually works well. Will post pictures soon.

If you're going to go with the cassette tape method, I'd rather go with the FM modulation. It's cheap AND you can hide the ugly wirings.

I'm still waiting for an answer on the autotoys harness. I'd like to feed the sound through the AM-SAT port

I find the tape sounds a lot better, and I can hide the wires for the most part...
I was thinking the same thing about the AM-SAT port as well, but it's seems it's more complicated than it seems for the LS430... I will post pics soon...
