you can adjust them manually by hand or through the asc680 asus datasystems controller... in the FAQ sticky at the top of the ls430 page there are instructions on how to accomplish each of these...

if you click on the top thread named 'LS430 FAQ' then you will see a bunch of links on the first page and one of them is called 'Lowering a UL LS by adjusting the sensor rod/bar', just click on this one for the instructions on how to.......'....'
there is another one called 'Datasystem Controller Writeup with Pix' that has all the instruction on how to hook up the controller and what not, plus some cool pics.
