Would you prefer to take out the German made ballast and replace with an after market unit?? or do you mean just the bulbs?

You can replace the bulb as long as it the same size as the factory ones.

sorry i meant to say the bulbs. They are Phillips made in Germany.

In any case, i wouldn't swap out the OEM denso ballast for anything else, but im sure you could with some wire splicing. However, like i mentioned earlier, the bulb can be replaced in a plug and play fashion as long as its the correct size.

you can just get diffrent hid bulbs with diffrent kelvin ratings and plug and play with original ballast
