Mikemareen,
Really? Insane? KBB is over $21 and this car looks like it is brand new. I can understand the pov of getting the 04 or nothing but I'm not that concerned with backup camera, 6-speed etc. This one is in perfect condition with maintenance records that look like the dealer made them up. I did find another 03 with navi for $16.2K but it didn't have CL, had 25K more miles and was a not-so-nice color combo. I dunno. I think I'm getting a good deal but paying near the high end of the price range. And- I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you don't live in CA. The prices out here for a low-mileage LS are higher than other parts of the country. Go figure. Lotsa yuppies.

Nobody that I've seen is giving away the perfect condition ones here in FL either. I sold my outstanding condition '03 for $19.9K about 6 weeks ago. That was a fair price for the car or else the buyer would have bought a different car.

Default The deal is almost done

Thursday morning is the day the final inspection (at Lexus dealer) and exchange of $$ happens and then I climb into my new (to me!) LS430. The funniest part of this deal is that I am leaving for Mexico Friday morning and I am NOT taking the LS with me. My new car will sit in my driveway for 3 days right after I buy it! Haha. Oh well. Plenty of time to put miles on it later. Thanks for the input guys.

jbookie, sounds like it is the exact car you want, go for it.

Don't forget to post pics after you come back from Mexico

Can you tell us what the Lexus dealer charged you for the inspection? I am about to set one up with a dealer in Kansas City.

I have found my CL as well, an '04 with 39k in Black Cherry Pearl from a private party. It would have cost me another $6k to get an '05 with similar mileage. The price was right around the KBB private party value.

Well Diplocar, Oh, am I talking to myself? The Lexus dealer is charging me $107 for the inspection. I thought that was reasonable.

Haha Diplo. I was asleep @ 2:15 this morning to make my 7:45AM inspection appointment! The dealer down here (Mission Viejo) charged me $130 for the inspection and then $99 for an oil change and fluid top-off. Looks like you are getting a better deal than I did. BUT, did you get free coffee with your inspection? I didn't think so.
