Very easy to do. Sorry I don't have step by step pictures. But 3 philips head screws at the bottom of the door. At the door handle, take a small flat head screw driver and pop out the cover, there is a screw behind it. Pop up the window switch panel (small plastic pry tool would be better than a flat screw driver). Pry at the lower right side and lift out. Unplug switch (a few connections) there is a screw there. Just below the door handle, you have to bend down and look upward to locate this last screw.

Once all the screws are out, take your plastic pry tool to help remove door panel from door. After you have pulled it away from the door, starting at the bottom of course, you want to lift upward. Be careful not to pull to hard, the courtesy lamp will still be connected. Disconnect and rest on a shop rag or better yet have some one hold it out your way while you tackle the door speaker. There will be the connection for the door handle (LEAVE THAT ALONE) not necessary to remove.

The door speaker is in a enclosure that is held onto the door with 3 screws. once that is removed you will see the trim ring that has foam around it. It is held in place with 3 or 4 star/hex head screws. Remove the ring, then the speaker comes right out. Disconnect plug and swap out the speaker. I recommend soldering wires for new speaker, you'll see even though its not hard too hard to remove panel, you don't really want to go back into the door unless you really have to.

Now the star/hex head screwdriver needed may not be in your tool kit so you will have to go out a by a set (I work at a dealer and there are plenty of guys here with all the tools I need. Never a issue when it comes to DIY) but you'll see, not hard at all. If I missed a couple of steps (I don't think I did) the removal is so simple. CAN'T get it wrong!!!!!

Good Luck!!!

I forgot to ask-what are the specs for the Infinity Kappa speakers that you used (dimensions, wattage, impedance, etc.)?

Sorry my friend. Did the installation a long tima ago, so I do not remember the specs, but the factory amp has more than enough power to push it. Now if you looking for some earth shaking, window rattling bass< your going to have to look for additional audio mods. For what I like to listen to and the level I listen at, these speakers work for me.
