Default Tough number to find.

I watch the wholesale prices regularly. You are asking for a tight find. Even a 2001 will bring wholesale higher than that, unless it was wrecked and fixed.

Good luck though,

If you are doing detailed searches in autotrader including mileage, price max and nav then that is what's available.
There is no law that says that you can't pay the asking price. To not even look at it is limiting your selection.
I bought both of my LS's off autotrader from private individuals The price was very near what they were asking but the price was good for the mileage.
Both of mine have been awesome and well worth the price I paid. My 05 LS430 still has less than 15,000 miles and I paid top retail less than 4 months ago but it is like a new car. It was still a steal in my mind.
Good luck looking.

Hi- see you're in NJ. I recently bought a 2002 LS430 with 47,000 miles for about 20k at Bridgewater Lexus. It didn't have navigation but i didn't care as I have a Tom-Tom. Plus i see there are many people complaining about them. Anyway, try giving Max Campbell a call at Bridgewater Lexus. He is the Pre-Owned Sales Manager. he may be able to find you the car you are looking for. Jay

Welcome to the forum.
Which package does it have, Ultra, Custom, Modern Luxury or Premium base or in other words
Does it have air suspension, headlight washers, nav or what?
Does it have SmartAccess, 18' wheels etc.
13,000 miles adds a lot to it's value. With 13,000 miles it should be flawless.

Hi Shifty. Welcome to the club (in registration only, for now)

Sounds as if you're viewing the Modern Luxury package + Sport Package. I have the same car. My personal thoughts are it's the best LOOKING stock LS430....those stock 18" rims MAKE the LS430.

Assuming that vehicle, if it's in great condition, not wrecked, etc, would be listed for at least $27,500..but not more than $32,000? Would be a very good deal for you, if you got it at $28k. My opinions of course.

You'd be doing great to get an 06 in the Carolinas with 13k miles for anything less than $33k even without CPO.
I paid more than that for my 05 Custom Luxury about 4 months ago but it had only 8,200 miles on it.

Hi
thanks hoonya and ls 430in DE. Interesting prospectives and good info. Hoonya the o6 I mentioned is a black and saddle ...sounds like yours. I expect it will go for a high price but I am putting bids in and will see what happens (bid of 31,500 rejected). Right now choice is between that and an 06 silver and silver. ...a little more mileage (36000) , not cpo but still obviously under warranty (1 owner lease arizona) I expect that should be available for somewhat less (29000range is my guess but we will see). I just really like that black/saddle combo...reminds me of the old mercedes/bentley/rr combos of the 60's
Comments/prospectives encourraged.

I paid top dollar for my 05 but I'm totally ok with what I paid. I pretty much bought the car because it was like new. My wife told me to buy it because she knew I wanted one next year and I wouldn't find one this good when I was ready to buy. The fact that it was 4 years old didn't matter to me. Less property taxes and insurance is the way that I looked at it, because I'll keep it a long time. I like the black/saddle a lot, partially because it is unusual on an LS (supposedly lots of SC's have it).
I don't know if you've had black cars but they show dirt. If you drive in the slightest rain you'll want to wash it.

good luck with your search.
