is the 2004 Xenon HID HeadLight Ballast fit in 2001 ??

I need to change the ballast on my car because one of the xenon turns off after 1 minute when I turn the headlight on.
I found 2004 Xenon HID HeadLight Ballast on ebay for $71. Before buying it I want to make sure if it fits on my 2001 LS430.
is 2004 using different ballast than 2001 or not?

Functionality, they will all work because it will fit all d2r/d2s bulbs.

Sizewise, if the 01 ballast is a slim ballast like the 04-06, then obvious it'll fit inside the ballast holder under the headlight.
