Default 150k miles 2001 pricing question

I saw the KBB and NADA pricing and all that jazz, realistically though is $10k a fair price for this car? I am not scared by the high miles but when it comes time to sell I don't want to lose my shirt either.

Depends on the condition of the car. I brought my 01 LS430 about 10 months ago for $14K with 74K on it.

Just as an observation:

Went with an 01 LS with a tad less mileage than G_Ride (39,640) , but 3k more in cost.

Any accurate formulas out there to derive the value of mileage?
Driver of this car avg's. 8000 miles a year currently so that 34k is over 4 years use at her current pace of accruing miles.

To simplify: 10,000 miles is worth X. What is an accurate figure for "X" for an LS430?

Have no interest in somebody doing the math pertaining to my specific example. I am interested in an answer to the line above.

I too bought mine 10 months ago (01) with 91K miles, and I paid $14K. The car was in near perfect condition with full service history, and from the original owner. 16K miles later, the car is still perfect, with absolutely no problems. I am very happy and glad I shopped around to find a the perfect vehicle for me. My goal is to get to 200K, then give it to one of my kids.

Getting back on topic, I think $10K is doable if it has a good documented history and is pretty clean. But that is just my opinion, and it's not worth much. Good luck.

I picked mine up 2001 LS430 82k one step under ultra....

All records (JM Lexus since new)
All maintenece @ dealer
2nd owner carfax ( no accidends )
All points inspection, and free first oil change included

$13.900

Be aware lots of these high mile cars were auction bate and were used as fleet vehicles....run a carfax and get a free record check. They run forever "IF" treated right from the start
