Placement of phone for best Bluetooth reception
Does anyone have any experience they can share on the best place to put the phone for a good Bluetooth connection to the LS430. I find that when I leave my phone in my pocket or sometimes in the ashtray, people complain about the connection. When I move it to the passenger seat, it seems to be better.
Anyone else have experience they can offer?

I think it's more your phone getting reception from the cell towers than the bluetooth. Bluetooth has a range of approx. 100 ft. so moving even two feet here and there is not going to matter much.
Make sure your phone antenna is open and not covered and you should be good. As for placement, the little pull out on the dash is a good place, or replace the ashtry with a 'coin bin.'
