amen to that.... you have to drive it everywhere he would have had he been able to. Drive it to Canada, Niagara Falls. Drive to Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, S.F., Seattle, Orlando, Dallas, Pittsburgh (Primanti Brothers), Grand Canyon, etc.

Treat her right and she'll love you back with years or fantastic service.

For me, the LS430 completes me. Ever since the LS400 was released (back when I was pre 20's) I had always wanted the vehicle. It just had this connection to me that MB and BMW never did, and this was before I knew how bad the MB and BMW were in reliability. Then as time went by, the car got more expensive than I could make money, so I thought it was beyond my reach (sure, I could buy a super used LS400 for $2000, but that wasn't my plan). Then when I got to work and my j-**** bosses all drove their corporate S-class MBs, I got even more ticked. I said that one day, I'll be driving my LS and rubbing my success in their faces.

Well... got my LS430 last year and now... it's total bliss.

paid a bit too much. With no NAV and not Ultra Luxury that car could have been had for low to mid $20k. Or is your price including everything ie sales tax?
Who knows maybe you can afford that price...either way it is a great car. You will enjoy it.
Cheers,
Ian

Already been to those places so I'll have to find others. (don't know what Primanti Brothers is but been to Pittsburgh).
When I bought the car I told him I'd take care of it and he seemed to appreciate that. I had to go back several weeks later as they'd found the other smart key and told him how much I liked it.
I saw his obit and it said he was a scuba diver and private pilot. Me too. That followed that both our daughters had undergraduate degrees in nursing and our sons went to Clemson. Spooky.
I wanted an LS back in 1999 but thought they were more than what I wanted to pay. After trying an Acura RL, Avalon, and Audi A6, I gave up and bought my 96 LS400. Never looked back. Even when it was 13 years old it was still the 2nd best car I had ever been in. The best was a 97 that a co-worker had for a month before he totalled it (in Pittsburgh). That's a bold statement but I felt that way.
Love my LS430.
Last week I played golf at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head. As the college kid caddie is putting the clubs in the trunk he tells me how much he likes my Lexus. (That was long after I tipped him.) These guys see some cars and he liked my 4 year old LS430. Pretty cool,

shifty and ultasax,
Congrats to both of you. You'll love it. I guess you can tell that we like ours' a bit.
