Default changing A/C filter

my 2001 LS430 LUX keep telling me "change A/C filter"
Which filter does it mean? and How many filter does the car use?

Also, when I turn on the A/C at max, the are all good. After while the driver A/C become less cooler than the passenger seat. Is that because I need to change the A/C filter?

oh yeah, which is better buying the filter from any place and let my repairer install it from me with the oil change OR buy it from him??
if from any place is better than the repairer, from where is the cheapest??

Thanks guys,

it means the cabin filter needs to be changed. second it depends on which filter u wanna buy.. oem or aftermarket. its easy to install. you have to remember to reset the warning. its stated in your owners manual.
