A little icing on the "double-check before getting 275/40/19's" cake...
If you do, you may need to re-position the lower molding/ground effects mount as shown in the attached photo, depending upon your wheel offset. It's not a big deal to do, but notice that I had to bend the top mount forward and flex the ground effects around a little bit to create clearance to prevent rubbing over whoop-de-doos when I had a load in the car. You can see part of the stainless steel fastener that I used to replace the little plastic factory one. I painted the fastener black after making this photo, so it looked stock to anyone other than a fanatic, but it's a mod you might have to do. And my car wasn't nearly as low as you like to run yours.

i6turbo: i actually thought this would be the case when i looked into my little crystal ball. i foresaw wanting 275x40's but going with 275x35's for all of the obvious reasons. so those pilot pluses you keep promoting have these 275x35x19's right? i'll prolly go with those when its time. also what was the price if you recall?
thanks for the positive and constructive comments guys.

I guess what I'm trying to say is....it depends how low you wanna ride and if you decide to add spacers on them. And if your trying to run flush.....but like he said ^ if your not trying to go that aggressive then you can go the 275 route.....
