This is what i was thinking when reading about the downstream sensors that require you to pull carpet etc... Clip wires, solder new on... So easy... Dont forget the rubber protector that goes over the solder points.

My 2002 LS430 passenger side rear O2 sensor went bad after only 40,000 mi.
It is 2024 and I only have a little over 50,000 mi on the vehicle and so far no other sensors have gone bad.

Default Help!Pigtail for O2 sensor is trashed

I discovered my O2 sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1 wires are trashed due to PS fluid leaking on them. I’ve got a 2004 LS 430 UL with over 200k miles. The alternator went bad as while removing it I noticed these wires. Any advice on how to remove the pins from this pigtail? I’ve pulled out the little white part in the center but cannot figure out how to release these pins.
