i always thought brake pads are brake pads... i am pretty sure that except for like trucks and special applications that normal size brake pads will fit any of the cars on the road today, including bbk's. i could be wrong but i would put a few dollars on it being right.

You guys are bad!
And what are you smoking sojah, cause I want some of it
Brake pads comes in all different size, shape and compound, and it is different for different caliper, and there are millions of calipers out on the road. The pad is only the same if the caliper is the same.....aka...Camry vs. ES350, REV-01's huge 8 pots vs. stock Enzo.....etc. Sometimes the same pads are use on totally different cars with different brands, because the caliper is the same.....stock Brembos off Infiniti G35, EVO, STi, old GTRs.

is there like an entry level brake pad size cuz i have purchased 3 different sets of rotors and pads for 3 different vehicles all with stock calipers (for that vehicle) and i don't recall ever having to pick or differentiate between different sizes of brake pads.
i guess i will have to pay closer attention next time so as not to buy the wrong size pads, huh???
hey cutlet sauce that was a very small few dollars $$$... and it always helps to spur other more knowledgable peoples comments by putting something to the effect that i wrote up there... funny how bnr34 wouldn't have commented on the subject otherwise thanks bnr34 for the lesson on brake pads

nah its all good guys but yeah the website i ordered them from made you select your vehicle for the correct rotors to filter out but then after you selected a rotor it would show a whole bunch of recommended brake pads at the bottom,, "like, customers who bought this rotor also purchased these brake pads",, then i just selected a brake pad. i guess there was some smarts to that web page afterall and not so much on this end of the keyboard (on the topic of brake pads anyways). but now i learned another fun fascinating car fact.
oh my feathers stay ruffled,,, i'm trying to work on it.
