Extended warranty cost

Is there anyone out there that got a great price on the Lexus platinum extended warranty? The lowest quote I have received so far is $2900 for 3/36, including the NAV coverage.
Do I need an extended warranty? My 2004 LS 430 has 59,000 miles on it. The power train warranty expires in 2 months. It does not have air suspension.

you've got to be within the original 4/50 basic to get the lexus ext warranty... there are other aftermarket options, however...

there's carchex and warrantydirect that i was looking into before i wised up and got the lexus plat warranty...

Agree. Depending on HOW you drive, you will likely not need or use that warranty. Some people really like that piece of mind, but after owning several Lexus cars, around the 40-90k mile mark, these cars have been very solid. It is very doubtful you'll have a $3000 repair bill. I'd risk it.
