Default Scubadogg's Interior Custominzation

I have had my LS430 for about two months now, and in the time I tinted the windows and did the Nav destination unlock and the Nav video unlock.

I also removed the ML sub and added a JL audio 500/1v2 amp and JL speakers. The speakers where in my 98 LS400, so I plan to keep them till about next summer and go with a single 12" JL audio W7 in a custom box, to give me max trunk space.

Also I added blue LEDs around the base of the cabin, which look Killa at night!!!! I mean its just enough mood light, the wife even likes it! Pictures make the lights look more intense than they are by far. LED are under the drivers seat front and back and under the dash of passenger and driver sides. Also there is one blue LED in the ashtray replacement part, which I made a custom switch holder for the "Desintation input while driving switch" and the other is for the blue LED on/off. The **** in the front of the console is for remote bass management which makes my system sound soooooo sweet and balanced.

Also I added a mount for my Zune. I could have mounted it in other places, but I like the fact that is off the center console and I dont have to worry about spilling a coffee on it by accident.

Last step is the Viastech SL2Vu so I can enable videos. Actually I tried to install this last week, but the unit was defective or there is a software issue, Vaistech tech support is looking in to it. Regardless that install is really easy, I should be able to install it again in 20 minutes max.

If you have questions or want to see any build-up pics let me know.

Until I get the Vaistech unit installed I have to connect up the Zune thur a Cassete adapter. I did install a Zune power connection inside the center console so it should look nice and clean when I get the Vaistech hooked up

I like the custom ashtray setup. Easy to hide all the switches to keep things clean.

that's tight, look into making a fiberglass box for the trunk, it would really set it off. and put some suede in the interior somewhere!

Your right I think I will have to go the fiberglass box route. and some additional lighting in the trunk. Also want to update about the Vaistech SLV2u. To make a long story short, Vaistech sent me two units both didnt work, their tech support did some testing to discover there is a specific problem with the LS430, so they are working a fix, and I should have a working unit in a couple of weeks. Will of course update....
