Hi
I have a 01 LS430. I read some some people saying that on other models such as 97 and 04, the cabin air filter is in the glove box. I emptied mine looked in mine and could not find any!

Is it the top glove box or the bottom glove box?
Do I have to physically remove the glove box?

Does it involving unscrewing the glove box?

Any suggestions (pictures would be great) would be greatly appreicated.

My 02 is behind upper glove box. Remove plastic cover on back of box.you Will
see it.

Once you empty the glove box, there should be a little tab that you press and then remove like a "door". That should reveal the filter which you then pull out.

Thank you. I will look at it early tomorrow. I did try looking with glove box empty but could not find any tab / screws. I will try again. Lexus really hid that

i got two glove boxes the one on the bottom.back of the glove box take off the section in the middle it blends with the striaght edge.then u will see the white door like with clamps b easy with this cause they easy break.once u get it open the filter is right there pull it out and u good.
