I just bought a Flint Mica '06 LS430 CL with very low miles (21,000). All the accessories are there such as tools, manuals, paperwork. It still has the plastic covering parts of the back seat and the leather care instructions hanging from the headrest. The only thing I am missing is something that clipped inside the glove box door. The plastic clips are molded into the glovebox door and appear to be there to hold a pen or something. Does anybody know if this is what they are for and if a pen came with the cars?

You're missing the two clips? I believe they're for a pen or pencil, as I have a pen being held by those two clips. As for if the LS came with a pen or not, I don't know. My '99RX did come with a Lexus pen, but my '04LS did not come with it. ???? who knows....

No. I understand he's missing what went IN those 2 clips...but yea---I'd assume with confidence it was for a pen..or possibly even a tire pressure guage? (possibly, yes...even tho they all have TPMS)

Yep. The clips are there, I just don't know why. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something good like a solid gold Lexus Mont Blanc I'll put a Bic pen in there........

Clips on the inside of the glove door on my 06 hold a pen or pencil. I bought it used from Lexus and clip was empty when I got it. My 99 Acura RL came with a pen in the owners manual case but had no clips in glove - I rather have the clips and supply my own pen : )

my nice writing pen is held inside the leather owners manual,,?? nothing on the front door,,
