I have a 2005 and realize that the lights on the bottom of the side view mirrors will engage when the car is just turned off and light up your walkway. Now I know you guys know where I'm going with this, but why aren't these lights integrated with the turn signals? Unless they are and I just don't see it. This looks like a very simple suggestion.

they are not bright enough to do anything or alert anyone. you can get aftermarket mirror covers that have the led turn signals in them painted and shipped for like $250-300 but installation would be required then and this would still keep the puddle lights that you are referring to.
