Don't effect the ride, should handle better if you push it hard, but noone pushes a LS430 hard, I just did it for the look. The stock size looks really wimpy
I kept looking at those wide tires on AMG and that made me did this

They are Kumho ASX, no rubbing.

reason why im asking is because those rims are thin .....and i never really heard of people going 3 sizes wider on a stock rim

You are correct, you can't put a 275 on the stock 7.5" wide rims, the 245 is already almost too wide. I modified my rear rims, now they are 9.25" wide

didn't think anyone would do this but this great to widen the oems
by the way, you need a SPORT emblem on the sides now that you're done with the suspension mod

I don't understand what this means.[ I am going for the OEM sport package look ] Isn't it just 245/45/18
I don't see anything special on this car. Am i missing something.

OP widened the rear wheels to fit on 275/40/18 tires, from a 245/45/18 stock tire.
It gives the car a more aggressive look, and I really like it
