Local dealer has one. Outside looks fairly decent, I have only been able to see it at night in passing so far. Black on black, navi, couldn't tell if it was a UL, stealership is asking $14,995. Clean trade in is $16,500 and retail shows it being at $17k based on NADA.

Obviously the lower the better and based on my experience, car dealers mark cars up $4-6K. Think $14k-$15k OTD would be an unreasonable offer?

These were the 01-02's that sold at Manheim on Oct 29th...

2001...LS430...91,409 WHITE....$13,200
2002...LS430...103,611 WHITE...$13,800
2002...LS430...54,862 WHITE....$15,700

Now that I copied and pased, I just realized they're all white? Kinda weird.

Also, keep in mind there is no way of telling (via online) if these were in mint or clunker condition, nor can I tell what level luxury package they have either.

I would show them the checkbook in your back pocket, tell them $13,500 "firm", and see what happens.

Thanks for the information! I think I will go with $13,500-$14,000 and see how that goes.

I would say $14K OTD firm and they'll do it. The vehicle probably has either been sitting a while, and even not, a 2001 is not that desirable at this point in time. 8 years old, that's a long time in car years.
