Default Help: Hand free/Bluetooth volume too low

Is there a way to increase the Hand free speaker phone volume beyond what can be done from the touch screen?

Or a hack (hidden menu/function) to dispatch the incoming voice to all speakers?

I did a quick search in the forum and didn’t find any convincing posts stating either we're stuck with this limitation or it can be fixed.

Thanks

I have my volume set on 4 (max is 7) and I have plenty of volume. And I'm hard of hearing and wear hearing aids.

So you have the on-display volume to max and still can't hear it? Is the volume lower than the Nav volume somehow? I have mine set to about 5 and it's plenty loud to me. I've had it on max and the sound it too loud and distorted.

Get a second opinion on volume, if they say it's low too, the maybe you have a volume issue and bring to Lexus to have it checked out. If the 2nd opinion says it's good, then you need your ears checked...

Highway at 70mph on winter tires with all windows closed. It was bearable but I kept missing words here and there. Certainly nowhere close to distortion though. So maybe a volume issue. I'll get it checked.

If all normal then it looks like I will only use the builtin hand free as an alternate solution when I forget to bring my Plantronic Voyager Pro bluetooth headset. I travel a lot, often in loud places like airports. The Voyager Pro sets the standard for noise cancellation and cristal clear communications.

There is a secret menu for this. I will go out to my car and bring it up and post how to do it.

Ok,for the secret menu
1.Turn the ignition on.
2.Press and hold the option button on the dash
3.At the same time turn the headlight switch off and on 3 or 4 times.
4.once the menu appears press menu on the screen and several options will appear. the last one is for the bluetooth sound quaility.

While on a bluetooth call, try increasing the volume on your phone. On my iPhone the phones volume control adjusts the 'Bluetooth Volume' output and made a difference on mine.

I'll do that right now and report back.
Found the menu, increased RV volume a bit.
Was at 0, +3 sounds bad, I'll see how +1 or +2 goes in real life tests.

Thanks

The higher you turn up the volume the worse the sound quality, which isn't very good to begin with.

Yep, back at >0< in the hidden menu. more than that the sound was horrible.

I'd love to know what the "sound quality" setup can do...
The service manual I got do not cover this menu.

LMAO!

I thought the same thing, when people started posting I tried it myself and viola hidden menu. I put the BT vol on <3 > and it sounds a little louder but I want to test it for another week before I switch it back.
