I recently realized that the driver side low beam light had turned purplish recently on my 01' LS. Im guessing its just a sign its dying and i need a new one. Anyone have any other ideas?

You guessed correct the bulb is dying, time to replace it. I prefer to replaced them both low beams at the same time and be done with it.

I would replace both at the same time since both are the same age. Also, bulbs color shift as they age, and you want to keep them looking the same.

Also, make sure you replace them with OEM replacements, phillips D2R 4300K.

yea i had the same issue w/ mine......but it lasted about a year before actually going out. But i hated the fact that it was a diff. color....

You did business with these guys before? Cuz i need D2S bulbs and on ebay they are listed as Morimoto 6k-d2s. Is this brand any good? Also on ebay they are $50 but on their site its $5 cheaper.
