Default HD radio in the 430?

To all the audio heads out there, i was wandering since our factory headunits receive some sort of digital signal thru the RDS systems, is it possible to make this unit into a full HD radio with some sort of add-on tuner?

I don't know if you mean the "HD Radio" that's now being advertised, but,

FWIW, "HD Radio*" is a brand name, I believe. It is not to be confused with "High Definition" (as in HDTV). At its inception, websites indicate it meant "Hybrid Digital", and is just a broadcast method. It is owned by iBiquity, and is heavily marketed, some say, misleadingly. I would suggest Internet searches, and reading hits other than those from HD Radio itself and/or iBiquity, before dumping a lot of cash for such equipment.

OTOH, I could be wrong.
HD Radio is a registered trademark

way to answer the mans question lol. when looking at fitting parts i usually check crutchfield and input the cars model and year. they're usually pretty good at telling you what fits but the prices are very high IMO
