I don't think anyone mentioned the 6-speed automatic transmission that is standard for 2004-2006 models. the 2001-2003 Models only have a 5-speed auto. This is the reason that the 2004+ LS430 achieved 60mph in 5.9 seconds, rather than 6.6.
