hey guys,
i been reading these threads for awhile and was wondering if some one could help me!I have a 01 ls430 and the radio stopped working (before it stopped working it would work sometimes work and then shut off,always before it would shut off there would be a loud pop and hiss though the speakers). From reading other post i guess it is a common problem with the mark levinson amps. i took my amp out and found that a voltage regulator was burnt out i replaced it and the amp still did not work. i purchased a 02 amp from ebay (they says was working and tested good) put it in still no sound! so my questions are

1. is there a reset for the amp/head unit?
2. does the car "shoot" a code and that has to erased before the amp will work?
3. is there a fuse that maybe is burnt out?

hey charkbait, I'm switching out my unit soon, within the month. Let me know if you need a new head unit. I have an 03 with no Nav. Everything works, I can take and post a vid to prove on youtube. Anyway like I said keep me in the loop as I will have a good unit soon

thanks for the info! i tried undoing the battery for 3hr, hooked it back up and the system booted up still no sound.
If anyone knows a new amp procedure/setup i would appreciate it.keeping my fingures crossed
