Curious about ride quality if I just put lowering springs compared to coil overs?
Im curious for the people that ride lowering springs with STOCK OEM shocks.....
I'm thinking about just installing Tanabe lowering springs while keeping my stock shocks ....wondering how my ride quality would be???
OR
Should I just save up and just get coil overs because my ride quality would be a lot better than just getting springs??
Im not trying to slam my LS since it's my daily driver and I dont want to lose my ride confort of my Lexus...

I have the Tanabe NF210's with stock shocks and 20 inch wheels. I have not had any issues and the ride is pretty good. The drop is just right for me. It is much better that the stock ride height, but does not look or feel too low.

The ride quality with the NF's is not much different than stock. According to Tanabe, the spring rates of the NF's are only slightly raised (up to 5% over stock) and retain factory ride quality settings. I would have to agree. If I had kept the stock wheels on I doubt I would have been able to tell the difference.

I did the wheel/tire combo first (20 x 8.5 with 245/35/20 Toyo Proxes 4 tires) and then added the Tanabe NF springs a few months later. I truly feel that the any difference in the ride came from the wheel/tire combo and NOT the springs. The ride is better than I imagined and I have enjoyed it. I have already hit some MAJOR potholes with no damage or issues. These springs drop the vehicle 1.0" in the front and 0.8" in the rear.
