Spring is right around the corner and I know alot of ppl have started their rim search. I figured we could use this thread to share what wheels look best on our cars. This way we can get a better idea of whats out there. So post pic's and names if you want to share ideas.

Quote of the month!

It's all about what your taste, in the end you will be living and driving on them everyday but we love to help with suggestions.

Wheels are a personal (bad) taste item for some people. I haven't seen that much here, though.

wow i didn't expect such odd responses from this group, or maybe the question was just worded a little wrong...

well since i know that you just want a vote on which wheels look better there leroy i will vote for the traffic stars but i don't think thats the best pic of them...

also i noticed that the pic of those trafficstars on the ls430 on their homepage only had 5 bolts or rivets between each of the 5 star things and the ones in the pic right next to the car on their homepage have 6 bolts or rivet things... i prefer the 5 ones and didn't know this was optional but maybe it is.

those walds are nice as well but they don't have a lip do they?? those traffic stars can get pretty aggressive according to their site but if you can get those mayas for a good deal from that local shop i think that is your best bet, and i only slightly prefer the MZ's over the mayas.

The Wed Maverick does look good. I was just in NTB getting my tires rotated. They had a bunch of pretty junky wheels with just a few quality pieces. I had a long wait so I checked the wheels carefully - there is a lot of difference in build quality between wheels. My advice avoid cheap wheels like the plague.

My other advice based on today's NTB experience, avoid NTB like the plague - they were up-selling everyone in the store - I heard them tell multiple people they needed new battery, new struts, and new brakes and rotors - yikes - all broke at once - what a coincidence.

i don't know man i would have to see the wheels on the car first i guess... bigger isn't always better. i was sitting next to a 300c last night with some huge chrome 24's and it looked like a damn mini truck and pretty damn ugly to me.

those wheels do look pretty fancy but they also look like they would be expensive to replace once one got messed up plus a biatch to maintain that pretty chrome lip on

Tires are 235/30R22 and 285/25R22 which is nearly stock diameter (less than 2% more), really not a LS truck. These summer wheels are currently not on the car but I will post photos when winter has gone.
You are right: Google maps should add the potholes and the nav screen should warn me just to drive more as one weekend with one set LOL
Chrome is protected by "Autobahn" with PTFE, see http://www.swissvax.com/swissvax-aut...e-car-care.htm
Easy to maintain but there's a cost to floss said Kennedy.
